On May 11, Peter Candolfi, the mayor of Wattle Range, Australia, famous wine-producing area in the world and the director of Australian IUS Chateau visited Landsun accompanied by Lyu Bo, deputy party secretary and mayor of Longkou City, Zhao Liang, deputy general manager of Nanshan Group and Xing Qijun, general manager of Landsun.

From 2016, Landsun began to cooperate with Australian IUS Chateau. As the representative of classical Coonawarra wine in the top wine-producing area in South Australia, the wines of IUS Chateau were popular with the consumers.

It is learned that Wattle Range, Australia is located in South Australia, with a distance of 490km to Melbourne and a governing area of 392,634 ha. The local economy is rich in connotation and takes agriculture, forestry, fishery and tourism, in particular, cattle and sheep breeding industry, as the pillar industry. In 2013, the net primary productivity of the first industry of Wattle Range ranked first in the whole Australia. Wattle Range is rich in natural resources and is one of the regions with the highest agricultural output and the most diversified planting varieties in South Australia. Coonawarra, the top wine-producing area in South Australia and even the world, is located in this jurisdiction, and with a long history of grape cultivation and wine making, it is a mature industry in Wattle Range.

This exchange not only promotes Landsun to reach a deep cooperation with IUS Chateau, but also promotes Longkou City to form a sister-city relation with Wattle Range, Australia, the city where IUS Chateau is located, and Lyu Bo, deputy party secretary and mayor of Longkou City, signed a memorandum with Peter Candolfi, the mayor of Wattle Range. Along with overall implementation of China-Australia Free Trade Agreement and increasingly close of friendly cooperation between China and Australia in various fields, the exchange and cooperation of both parties face significant opportunity and wide space. Signing of memorandum of understanding between sister cities creates a new start for further exchange and cooperation and turns a new page for cooperation between Landsun and IUS Chateau.

After briefly introducing the conditions of economic and social development to the visiting guests in his address, Lyu Bo expressed that the net primary productivity of Wattle Range ranked first in the whole Australia and was highly developed in agriculture, forestry, fishery and tourism. Despite of being far apart, both parties were highly consistent and strongly complementary in economy, the folk economic and trading exchange and cooperation were in the ascendant, especially along with overall implementation of China-Australia Free Trade Agreement and increasingly close of friendly cooperation between China and Australia in various fields, the exchange and cooperation of both parties faced a significant opportunity and wide space. Signing of memorandum of understanding between sister cities created a new start and turned a new page for further exchange and cooperation. Driven by construction of Sino-Australian Free Trade Area, the depth and breadth of friendly exchange and cooperation in the future surely would be constantly expanded to promote the win-win development.
